— AI for Analytics Teams

Your analysts draft better when AI reads alongside them

Kilauan brings AI drafting support into your existing analytics workflows — SQL assistance, dashboard interpretation, and stakeholder-brief drafting — with data governance and PDPA alignment built in from day one.

— Our Engagements

Three ways we work with analytics teams

Each engagement is scoped carefully. We read what your team already produces, then find where AI assistance fits without disturbing your governance structure.

Analytics Workflow Review

Analytics Workflow Review

A short engagement where we sit with your head of data, a senior analyst, and a stakeholder representative. We read a sample of dashboards, ad-hoc queries, and stakeholder briefs, then write a brief on where AI drafting could carefully ease handling.

  • Reviews SQL drafting, interpretation, and briefs
  • Respects existing data governance
  • Short, focused engagement

Drafting & Reading Pilot

Drafting & Reading Pilot

A measured deployment of an AI drafting assist for SQL drafts, dashboard interpretations, and stakeholder briefs. The system drafts; analysts always edit before sharing. Read-only warehouse integration in a contained environment.

  • Four-week supervised period included
  • Training for two analysts
  • PDPA-aligned usage policy

Quarterly Stewardship

Quarterly Stewardship

A monthly advisory engagement for analytics leaders whose teams already use AI drafting. Each month we sample outputs, audit data handling, and write a brief for your chief data officer. Includes BNM-RMiT alignment where relevant.

  • Monthly output sampling and audit
  • CDO brief included each month
  • Yearly governance committee summary

— Why It Works

What makes this approach different

Analyst judgement stays central

AI drafts are starting points. Every output — SQL, summary, brief — is reviewed and edited by your analyst before it leaves their desk.

Data governance is non-negotiable

Read-only warehouse access, contained environments, and PDPA-aligned usage policies come standard across every engagement tier.

Works with your existing stack

BigQuery, Snowflake, Power BI, Looker — we sit beside your stack rather than asking you to rebuild around us.

Stakeholder briefs that read well

AI-assisted summarisation helps analysts turn dense dashboard data into briefs that senior stakeholders can read in two minutes.

Regulatory alignment included

For financial services clients, BNM-RMiT considerations are part of our Stewardship brief — not an afterthought you arrange separately.

Advisory, not prescriptive

We write briefs and recommendations; your team decides what to adopt. There is no pressure to deploy faster than your team is comfortable with.

Is your analytics team spending too much time on first drafts?

Let us read a sample of your work and write you a brief on where careful AI integration could free up analyst time — without touching your governance structure.

— Common Questions

Things analytics leaders usually ask us

Does the AI have direct access to our data warehouse?

No. In the Drafting & Reading Pilot, warehouse integration is read-only and operates within a contained environment defined with your data team. The AI drafts based on query structures and dashboard context — it does not write back to or store raw data.

How does the Workflow Review work in practice?

We typically arrange two sessions: one reading session where we review anonymised samples of your dashboards and queries with your data lead, and one brief-writing session to prepare our findings. The output is a written advisory brief you can share with your CDO or governance committee.

How long does the Pilot deployment take to set up?

Setup typically takes one to two weeks, depending on your IT access process. The supervised period then runs for four weeks. Training for two analysts is included in the engagement and delivered in small group sessions.

Do you work with financial services firms subject to BNM-RMiT?

Yes. Our Quarterly Stewardship engagement includes alignment consideration for BNM's Risk Management in Technology (RMiT) framework where relevant. We write the CDO brief with this lens in mind and flag anything that warrants review by your compliance team.

What happens to our data between sessions?

We operate on a no-retention principle for client data. Samples reviewed during the Workflow Review are anonymised before we handle them. The contained environment used in the Pilot does not persist data between analyst sessions. All handling aligns with PDPA requirements.

Can we start with just the Workflow Review before committing further?

Absolutely. The Workflow Review is designed as a standalone engagement. Many clients use it to build the internal case for a pilot before committing. There is no obligation to proceed further, and the brief you receive is yours to use as you see fit.
